Unable to Replace Battery in Brita XL Marella Indicator – Need Replacement or Solution

I have a Brita XL Marella pitcher, and the battery for the indicator has run out. I managed to remove the indicator, though it was difficult, but I’m unable to open the battery compartment to replace the battery. What should I do in this situation? Does Brita offer replacement parts for the indicator, or is there another solution to this problem? Please advise on the next steps I should take.
