Unexpected Discord Login Code Raised Serious Security Concerns
On June 8, 2026, at approximately 9:16 PM, I received an SMS from Discord containing a security login code, despite not having a Discord account and despite not initiating any registration, login, or verification request at that time. This situation was both surprising and alarming, raising serious concerns about the security of my personal information and the potential misuse of my phone number.
I believe that my phone number may have been associated with a Discord account without my knowledge or consent. Given the possibility that unauthorized individuals may be attempting to use my number, I request that Discord urgently investigate any account that may be linked to this phone number and perform all necessary security checks. If such an account exists, I request that appropriate action be taken, including the suspension or closure of the account if necessary, and the complete removal of my phone number from Discord’s systems.
To protect my personal data and prevent any potential misuse, I ask that this matter be reviewed as a priority. I also request written confirmation of the investigation results, the actions taken regarding my phone number, and any measures implemented to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
