I used the website TheBestPDF on 27 May 2026 for a simple PDF to PPT conversion. The only price clearly shown to me during the process was $0.95, which I understood as a one‑time fee for the conversion service. After paying with my Payoneer card, the site not only failed to convert my PDF to PPT as promised, but also charged me additional amounts that were never clearly disclosed. Without my clear consent to any subscription or extra service, I was later charged $15.95 USD on 27 May 2026. I did not see any transparent information about recurring charges or a subscription plan during the payment steps, so I consider these deductions to be hidden and unauthorized. I immediately contacted TheBestPDF support and requested a refund, explaining that I had only agreed to the $0.95 fee and that I never accepted any ongoing or higher charges, especially given that the service I paid for was not even delivered. Despite this, they refused to refund my money and did not offer any meaningful solution. I find this behavior extremely misleading and unethical. The way the pricing is presented gives the impression of a cheap, one‑time service, while in reality unexpected additional amounts are taken from the card. This creates a serious risk for other users who may unknowingly become victims of similar hidden billing practices. I request that this situation be thoroughly investigated and that the unauthorized charges made by TheBestPDF be refunded to me. I also expect necessary measures to be taken so that this company clearly shows all charges upfront and cannot continue charging customers in this misleading way.
